Water and environment protection through community awareness, women empowerment and reuse of organic wastes.
The aim of this project is to create a dump where organic wastes are transformed into compost, this will reduce the effect of wastes on the international water (Assi River) and also support citizens working in agriculture through obtaining organic fertilizers that will be produced and distributed in collaboration with the municipality. On Household level the project will launch an awareness campaign promoting sorting at household level (90 %), support most vulnerable women financially through the distribution of Hens that will consume some organic wastes (20% of households) and generate income through selling eggs.
