LIS Climate Change Mitigation Low Carbon Energy
Lucaya International School Solar Energy System project is to provide sustainable energy solutions to the school and provide solar generation and electricity savings. This project will also provide future generations firsthand knowledge and real world engagement with renewable energy through curriculum integration.
There will also be a community outreach programme led by LIS students with faculty advisors. The ongoing education programme will be designed for student groups from other local schools, educators and other interested community members to learn more about the importance of using low carbon energy to support ongoing climate change risk mitigation.
