Kauhata Reforestation Project
The project aimed at reducing negative impact on biodiversity by re-planting of local species of trees on 200 hectors of land. The project is seen as an intervention to global warming and climate change, clean ocean campaign and land degradation. Expected outputs are: Broaden the mindset of the rural people to fully participate in relevant activities relating to environmental control and management through awareness programme and dialogue.
