Solarisation of the Anse La Raye Fisheries Facility to reduce its carbon footprint and to reduce the cost of operations.
Based on the findings of an Energy Audit this project must implement several remedial activities prior to the disbursement of the first tranche of funds. The NSC has agreed to allocate the funds and to give the grantee until April 2023 to source the funds required to undertake all remedial measures.

The project objectives are as follows: : (i) To realize savings of at least $3000 monthly within the first twelve months after solarisation; (ii) To invest at least XCD$20,000 of the amount saved off energy in a pension fund for fishers during the first twelve months of solarisation; (iii) To invest at least XCD$10,000 of the amount saved off energy in a scholarship fund for fishers? children during the first twelve months of solarisation; and (iv) To train a least 30 members of the group in project and financial management, reporting and project conceptualization during a 6 month period.
