Sustainable agriculture and fisheries - food security
Sustainable agriculture and fisheries - food security
The main objective of the project is to bring about a positive change in the lives of women and re-engage them into Taro cultivation in Hondedhoo. The project would conduct a baseline assessment to understand the present condition of the Taro fields and why these Taro fields have become unproductive over the years and would address the problems faced by Taro cultivators. This will not only make women financially independent but will also help the women who grow Taro earn more and increase food security.
