Shahiya Pahala Tal Biodiversity Conservation and Management
The proposed project is an initiative to strengthen local community based institutions to come together to safeguard and conserve the local biodiversity. The objective of this project is to develop as eco-tourism area through the social mobilization of members of the Bandevi-CFUG focusing on creation of wetland management with biodiversity conservation, social awareness, skill enhancement, and micro-enterprise development.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
Coordination with communities in order to complement each other. Various information which is important to communicate to the communities NGO/CBO, Community Forestry will disseminate to the communities through Expert. Such strategies for sustainable management are; Counseling with regard to selection of location, planning for biodiversity and compliance. Facilitation on Linkages and guidance on how to access local, practical steps to plan, start biodiversity conservation. Monitoring and immediate feedbacks by the staffs and central monitoring team.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
This project aims to create show successful model of biodiversity conservation and awareness in Ratnanagar Municipality. Similar activity will be launched on different community. It is expected that the biodiversity conservation will benefit through the increased awareness of local residents and the livelihood diversification decreasing the pressure upon the natural resource.
