This project aims to conserve the local biodiversity of Ramdhuni forest landscape through the conservation of forest and wildlife, increase the livelihood of fastest dependent communities through livelihood-based initiatives, and empower the Ramdhuni forest dependent communities through capacity building and awareness raising activities.

Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
Organize inception workshop at municipality level to provide understanding of the project nature, budget and scheduled program and plan. Four training on (i) vulture conservation, (ii) improvement of wildlife and birds habitat, (iii) climate resilient crop in naked land of community forest and private land, and (iv) cultivate organic vegetable farming. Necessary skills and knowledge will be imparted through these trainings. Formation of 4 eco clubs of children to campaign against hunting/poaching birds/wildlife, initiate conservation initiatives, support them with training, field visits, and quiz competitions, hands-on exercises, mobilized for anti-chemical fertilizer and pesticide, and over grazing.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Promoting climate resilient crops in private land and community forest land by planting wildlife resistive roots crops and fruits plants. Providing technical support and necessary seeds to cultivate organic vegetable farming and 120 family will involved. Building farmers network to sell their farm commodities from their field by linking the local market.
