The project is aimed at integrating indigenous knowledge with scientific knowledge and smart agriculture in agricultural production to improve adaptive capacity and livelihoods of ethnic minorities in Kim Boi district, Hoa Binh province.
Specific objectives:
- Climate advantage and seasonal framework based on long-term forecast information combined with local experience are collected and used as the basis for appropriate crop structure adjustment.
- Develop a unified hydrometeorological information system for agricultural production as a basis for directing, operating and practicing agricultural activities based on forecast information.
- Knowledge of teachers and students (especially ethnic minority students) about climate, climate change, hydrometeorology in agricultural production is improved. This enables the knowledge to be spread and transferred to the next generation of students, their families and friends.
