Delta Tuban is the main agriculture zone of Lahj Governorate. It has a fertile agricultural land that is built over centuries from Wadi Tuban flood sedimentation through its two branches being Wadi ?Kabeer? (major) and Wadi ?Sagheer? (minor). Each canal has got a water user society that managing flood irrigation through each canal locally named as ?Oubr?.
This project aimed to assist 27 farmers groups to obtained solar powered and dripping systems for irrigation. The total agriculture land benefited from this project is 113 Fedan owned by 26 farmers? families with 137 inhabitants being 78 male and 59 females. Further, a large labor community are benefiting from the ongoing agriculture activities wen participation in farm labors.
