Adaptation to Climate Change to Promote Sustainable Agriculture.
Adaptation to Climate Change to Promote Sustainable Agriculture.
Every year, residents of Doi Daeng villagers grow many vegetables to sell to wholesalers and various restaurants in Tonpheung district, such as bean sprouts, cabbage, lettuce, sweet potatoes, onions, long beans, beans, cherry tomatoes, eggplants, and cucumbers. But vegetable cultivation in the community is done at their own discretion, and there is no knowledge of how to manage the cultivated land, accelerate the growth of vegetables, control weeds and get rid of insect diseases. Fertilizers and chemicals in large quantities are used without hesitation. The use of fertilizers for years in vegetable cultivation in the community leads to soil degradation, which affects the environment, such as the area under cultivation. If chemical fertilizers are not used, vegetables cannot grow because the soil is damaged, and some insects are resistant to chemicals. People use fertilizers and chemicals without hesitation, without considering the consequences. The project aims to encourage people to form strong production groups and grow organic vegetables that are environmentally friendly. Establish agricultural production groups; promote the cultivation of organic vegetables and create an area for technical learning.
