The project's goal is to develop and disseminate the best practices to provide the economic, cultural, social, and environmental sustainability of seas, human beings, and other species. With the Marmara Sea without Mucilage: Marmara Sea-Friendly Industry Agreement Project, the main aim is to decrease the adverse effects of industrial enterprise on the Marmara Sea and support them to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals mentioned in the project. In order to reach this aim of the project, the project team will work with the industrial enterprises in ?stanbul, Kocaeli, and Bursa, which have adverse effects on the Marmara Sea and want to change their impact. To reach and inform the related industrial enterprises, the visibility of Circle of Impact Foundation and Movement of The Marmara Sea without Mucilage will be visible at the fairs and the meeting of the industry's provincial chamber, etc., through the booth. Later,the Sector-based Marmara Sea-Friendly Agreement will be prepared through the workshops that the industrial enterprises contribute. Within the project's scope, the consultancy support for preparing an action plan to decrease the effects on the Marmara Sea will be provided to the companies signing the Sector-based Agreement. The project's target is that thirty percent of the companies signing the Agreement will implement their action plan against the mucilage in the Marmara Sea.
