Development of the farmer network as a platform for
agro-ecological solutions and agricultural
cooperatives
The project is aimed at developing and approbation of agro-smart technologies for growing agricultural products. The
project will offer tools for the capacity building and support of women, IDPs and youth from rural areas, with the aim of
restoring and strengthening women's farming in the conditions of the war period. The main idea is to develop and adapt
agro-ecological technologies, taking into account climatic features and the needs of a specific community. Such
technologies will be available not only for the specialized farmers, but also for the ordinary land owners. Specific families
or households within a specific community will be identified who wish to become a participant in the project and for whom
seeds, seedlings or saplings, organic fertilizers and biological plant protection agents will be purchased. The project is
going to demonstrate wide opportunities for cooperation and networking. In order to ensure the sustainability of the
project, farmers and small land owners will be trained in new innovative and pragmatic approaches to agriculture, which
are based on modern agricultural science.
