Water & Energy Strategies: The Key to Sustainable Development
Water & Energy Strategies: The Key to Sustainable Development
The project comprises of district and national Science fairs targeting water and energy conservation strategies. It has been observed that students tend to display a lack of positive behavioral habits as it relates to Water and Energy Efficiency. Water and energy efficiency issues are not addressed in the classroom using local settings and examples. Students need to practice solving problems critically through the scientific method. These science fairs will showcase to the public teaching/learning that occurred in relation to environmental science (water and energy efficiency) at local schools with the intention of bringing more awareness to all people in rural and urban communities of existing problems and innovative and creative ways to attempt to combat them.
