Strengthening Indigenous communities in their management of Community-based conservation of critical ecosystems and threatened endangered species in their natural ecosystem within the mountain range of Tabwemasana. And address ecosystem restoration through installation of gravity fed water supply system for the 3 villages in upland area of BigBay. The Water Supply system at the same time providing the irrigation system for the replanting of trees in the water catchment area.

Project Characteristics and Results
Notable Community Participation
The project will promote the participation of youth during the construction work. It will promote the participation of women and those living with disabilities through the facilitation of backyard gardening and forest restoration near their water source. The provision of a more reliable and accessible supply of clean water will benefit those living with disabilities and mothers caring for their children, in that clean water will be more readily available for cooking, drinking, and washing. Community hygiene will be improved.
