Holopeka is a small community on the island of Lifuka, it borders other coastal communities in Lifuka. Centralised on the narrowest band of the the island of Lifuka. The coast line is damaged annually with the great swells during king tides and huricane season. This small grants is to fund activities that would improve adaptation alongside Government initiative of repairs to the access road (located along the coastline) to and from Holopeka and neighboring community of Koulo. The activites include coastal revegetation on the reclaimed land along the coast to further protection aganist the road sliding due to coastal erosion during huricane season.
