Building local community resilience to climate change in addressing water security
The project to address water security in Lounarei village through the installation of 11 to 15 water tanks within 11 households. The limited water supply in the local community now is worsen by impacts of climate change and have impact on unfair labor sharing on women and Children. The installation of Water of 15 water tanks to reaching over 3,000 people is very much needed. The installation of the tanks will be the first experience of the local community using rain harvesting to secure water for drinking and domestic washing. The Water provided in the village will reduce people?s activities within the Watershed area in particular the water Sources and this will protect the wild life and their habitats.
