The project includes the use of a portion of Exuma Christian Academy?s undeveloped property, for the creation of an Ecology Community Park. The rationale is to engage the community in the development of a space that serves to educate the public about local and indigenous plant species, with samples whilst creating a green space for recreation, bird watching and exercise. The space will also foster Conservation and Recycling with the prominent use of recycling bins. This project will engage youths and conservation agencies and will benefit locals, particularly students; tourists and the scientific community. The site will be in a mixed-neighborhood and slightly developed area known as Hooper?s Bay.
