The overall objective of the project is to mitigate climate change impacts through climate resilient livelihood initiatives of Tingheruwa Wetlands dependent communities. This project is based on promoting Jeevatu based climate smart agriculture, installation of improved cooking stoves, initiating community based forest conservation and wetlands conservation and institutionalizing the conservation initiatives.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
- More than 200 people aware on organic farming using Jeevatu through 6 awareness campaigns. - Organic farming initiated in 12 ha land using Jeevatu. - More than 90 families benefitted from technical inputs to produce Jeevatu. - More than 90 farmers gain skills on how to prepare biocides to through 2 demo plots.
Capacity - Building Component
- More than 30 stakeholders aware on the overall ideas and concept of project through Inception workshop. - More than 90 lead farmers through 2 events receive necessary skills on organic farming practice using Jeevatu. - More than 90 farmers through 2 events aware on how to prepare biocides.
