Krishi Gyan Kendra, PMAMP, development institutions, farmers? cooperative, market networks (Agrovets etc.) are our major means to communicate our goals and activities. 2. Joint monitoring and final workshop together with SMD, PMAMP, Krishi Gyan Kendra, Cooperatives, Private institutions (Agrovets, Seed companies) are our means to communicate the results to the community members, CBOs, GO?s, and Private institutions. 3. To increase the participation, Inception workshop and Preliminary orientation workshop has been designed followed by field visit of the participating farmers. 4. This project ensures the replication and expansion of its activities also to other non-target farmers. For this, the project conducts the mass media campaign through distribution of posters and pamphlets to other farmers, institutions and agrovets. Add, farmers from adjacent villages will be invited to a farmers field day visit in the demo plot +/-compost to recognize the advantages of compost. 5. Farmers are encouraged to share their experiences to other farmers during such visits. This shall ensure the expansion of project objective also to the other adjacent communities.

The project is designed to be executed through community. And to ensure the active participation of the community member, following activities were/will be conducted; 1. Following SWOT analysis, identified through focused group discussion, this project has been designed. It provides a single simple solution to the community issues of soil fertility, environment, productivity and income generation that were raised. 2. Other stakeholders including the private seed companies (Lumbini Seed Company, International Seed Company), Farmers group, and Krishi Gyan Kendra, were prior consulted for their interest and suggestion to design this project. 3. Several meetings and workshop conducted together with the community member to enhance community confidence. 4. Establishment of Farmers field school and experimentation and demonstration plot 5. Establishment and policy formulation of coordination committee and secretariat of the project in the farmers group. 6. Providing composting package including construction of compost bins, distribution of straw cutter, distribution of small farm equipment and inoculum 7. Policy formulation and establishment of coordination committee and the contact person for the marketing of the compost 8. Development of inventory and Contact point for sale of subsidized compost (project benefited farmers obligated to sale 50% of their product) 9. Dissemination and advertisement of the compost produced by the community through mass communication as well as farmer field visit. 10. Handover of the institution and structure developed to the community
