Promote Climate Resilient Food System Through Improved Small-scale Infrastructure and Vocational Training at NamFa Village, Viengphoukha District, and Luangnamtha Province.
Beng and Pakbeng district, Oudomxay province located in Northern part of Laos. In particular this area has been affecting from climate change like floods, droughts, and land slide in pass few decades, which is these two districts is along Beng river. Many rivers? streams lines flow is like blood of people to use for living and agriculture activities. Currently, the challenge in protection water and forest are more serious in management of natural resources sustainability. The exploitation and encroachment of forest are heavily by people from inside and outsides of communities by cutting and burning forest, catching, and hunting wildlife for all seasons. These things are harmful forest, wildlife, and water resources, and it possible to lose endangered species. Second, is lack of the participation from community like young people in natural resources conservation and protection. There is no participate from youth to protect their resources because of inequality of gender and cultural
