Climate Change Adaptation of Sanghan Secondary School in Nale District, Luang Namtha Province.
Sanghan Secondary School, Nale district is the poorest district in Luangnamtha province which also one of the schools that assists students from remote areas, ethnic groups, the poor, and the disadvantaged that receiving 100% education supporting. In the school, there are 19 male and 2 female teachers, 387 male students, and 178 female students. There are 2 school buildings, 2 dormitories, and 1 kitchen. There is an area of school 3,300 square meters, which 26 hectares are suitable for raising animals and growing vegetables. However, due to the lack of food, students have to hunt the wild animals, and illegal fishing in Namtha river downstream. The project aims to promote and encourage student?s on raising animal husbandry, grow vegetables to combat climate change and promote food security at Sanghan Secondary School.
