Use of positive ecological practices for reducing the negative effect of the solid waste on the environment and global warming
The problem with solid waste management, especially wood, textile, plastic and metal, is an ongoing ecological topic and is still present in our municipality. In the past, the already implemented projects have managed to educate the local population on the need of a circular economy and adequate waste management, especially its reuse, and have significantly contributed to raising citizens? eco awareness. Still there is a need for continuous eco education on the negative impact of the unsuitable management of the solid waste on the environment and global warming, that is best accomplished through youth education and through them to the general population. This education and gaining practical skills needs to be done continuously.

During the many meetings held with the young people, members and volunteers in Eco Zhivot, especially on waste reuse, they have shown significant interest on the project topics but also have demonstrated the need for a space, a social center in form of workshop where they will be continuously available to them, and where they can go to gain skills and knowledge on reuse solid waste, environment protection and global warming. A space that will be suitably equipped with tools, materials and mentors to help them socialize, express their opinion and gain practical skills.
Where they will be equal and free to express their creativity without no limitation or discrimination.
