This project aims to create a cleaner, healthier environment for youths in Region 3 by introducing plastic bottle recycling and solid/plastic waste management education and awareness sessions in 7 schools targeting 1,000 kg of plastic. The project will tackle the growing issue of plastic waste pollution and aid in the reduction of improper plastic waste management practices such as open burning, littering and uncontrolled dumping, which currently present threats to environmental and public health in Region 3.
