The project supports the initiatives of the local community and youth through the rehabilitation of 20 neglected properties within the town of Al-Kahlounieh and Mazraat Al-Shouf, (leveling the lands and planting trees such as white figs - pomegranates - sumac ? walnuts). The project will allow 50 young men and women to be employed in the cash for work program to create job opportunities, including awareness and training on the reality of biodiversity, land management, sustainable use, and rationalization of water use.
