Improved Fish Smoking stove
This project is especially targeting women groups working at the shores of Lake Victoria. It tries to reduce the amount of fuel required to smoke fish, fuelwood which is not locally availlabe due to heavy defforestation, by 75%.
The project aims at providing an alternative energy saving kiln which will reduce the burning of fossil fuels, thereby reducing greenhous gas emissions leading to global warming and at the same time enhance the community quality of life. The women groups will be able to generate income from selling the smoked fish.
