Providing Livelihood Opportunities through Recycling
Providing Livelihood Opportunities through Recycling
To reducing air pollution that causes poor health conditions and increasing of greenhouse gas emissions that lead to global warming and climate change by recycling of animal wastes to produce organic fertilizers

the project employs a recycling approach for the horse manure produced by more than 500 donkey carts in Luxor. This involves establishing collection points for manure in the streets, transporting it to designated units for manure processing, and converting it into safe organic fertilizer. This initiative encourages farmers to reduce their reliance on chemical fertilizers.
To enhance the daily collection of manure, donkey carts are provided with "daibars" to receive the manure, rather than disposing of it on public roads. These "daibars" are offered at a nominal cost to incentivize cart owners to acquire them.
