To promote sustainable transport through providing a mountain bike sharing system in Gabel Qatrani area.

Promoting sustainable transportation within the protected area and contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions that contribute to the worsening global climate change crisis.

Implementation and installation of two solar-powered bicycle waiting stations, featuring a total of 60 bicycle racks, with a station size of 18 meters by 2.5 meters.

Provision of 60 mountain bikes equipped with mobile application systems in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Fayoum University.

Preparation of approximately 15 kilometers of bike trails within the protected area in the Jabal Qatrani region to minimize any ecological and geological impact on the reserve. These trails were selected following a field visit to the protected area and were determined in collaboration with a committee comprising members of the reserve management and the association.

Construction of two environmentally-friendly smart rest areas, each powered by solar energy, with a total area of 500 square meters per rest area. These rest areas are in line with the regulations set by the Nature Reserves and Environmental Protection Authority and are designed to provide shelter for reserve visitors. These rest areas will be made available for use by youth to ensure project sustainability and will include waste management systems for the rest areas, as well as portable restroom facilities.

Installation of a camera surveillance system with internet connectivity and solar power for monitoring all bicycle waiting stations, totaling four cameras for the two waiting stations.

Development of educational programs within the reserve for visitors, including meetings, pamphlets, and informative signs made from natural materials within the reserve. The project will also involve the creation of eco-friendly waste bags that align with the reserve's environmental system and establish an interactive website on social media platforms.

Raising awareness about mountain biking through periodic announcements of schedules and competitions within the reserve.
