Sustainable Conservation of Irkwasa and Kitendeni villages environment biodiversity: An Approach for Restoring and Protecting the Kitendeni Wildlife Corridor in West Kilimanjaro Ecosystem
Context:
Kitendeni is among the corridor that has been identified as a major threat to the protected areas viability and sustainability in a block of northern Tanzania wildlife corridors. However, in West Kilimanjaro ecosystem is the only remained corridor that links Kilimanjaro and the other ecosystems after blockage of the former corridors to Tsavo West National Park, Arusha National Park, Meru Forest, Mkomazi Game Reserve. The corridor allows wild animals movement (ibid) to Kilimanjaro National Park and Amboseli National Park in Kenya.

This proposed initiative on sustainable conservation of Irkwasa and Kitendeni villages? environment will restore and protect the Kitendeni wildlife corridor in West Kilimanjaro ecosystem.
