- Planting fruit and vegetable seedlings in family backyards ? The introduction of a greater variety of crops to strengthen family farming, part of the seedling production will be cultivated by the beneficiaries, some varieties will be acquired through purchase, with the introduction 300 fruit seedlings in benefiting families and increase vegetable cultivation; - Technical assistance in agroecological production ? providing technical assistance with individual or collective monthly visits to guide the excursion and implementation of project activities, aiming at the development of appropriate techniques and technologies for coexistence with the semi-arid region; - Implementation of agroecological backyards ? implementation in 02 collective areas with organic fields totaling 20,000m², using organic cover to reduce water evaporation, one (01) in nucleus 01, and the other in nucleus 02 of the settlement. Implementation of simplified irrigation systems in backyards to serve 14 families, with a total area of 4 ha, implementation will be carried out on a collective basis. - Implementation of 7 cisterns with a storage capacity of 52,000L of rainwater ? the implementation of the technology will take place through the hiring of labor (bricklayer), purchase of civil construction material, excavation of the hole with a machine, compensation from the beneficiaries with food and a bricklayer's assistant, the implement is based on the models and methodology of the Brazilian Semi-Arid Articulation ? ASA; - Implementation of a water pumping and storage structure ? Acquisition of equipment through the purchase of a pump to collect water from the well, construction of a base for a water tank and purchase of a water tank with a storage capacity of 10,000 L, hiring labor (bricklayer), helpers for the bricklayer will be the beneficiaries; - Training course on processing family farming products (fruit pulp, jam, jelly) ? Hiring a woman with experience in processing fruit pulp and producing jam and jelly to hold 02 workshops. This training will be aimed at women. - Creation of a fair to be held once a month to sell products ? the fair will be held in the community itself in the community space, with young people being responsible for coordinating and encouraging people to bring their products and for organizing the fair. - Carrying out exchanges ? Taking beneficiaries to learn about other backyard experiences that have been successful in the region. It will last 8 hours. It will be a time for exchanging knowledge and experiences between farmers. All implementation of activities will be carried out collectively, through joint efforts, involving women, young people and the elderly in strengthening community ties.
