Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
- Implementation of a water storage and distribution system directly from the water hole ? implementation of a water tank with a capacity of 10,000 liters, supported by a 5m² high base, pumping water through a submersible pump using solar energy independent of the electrical network. Installation of a main distribution branch with 40 mm PVC pipe, for residences and agricultural production lots, each lot will receive a water point with 20 mm plumbing and the houses will receive a 1,000 liter box, the materials will be purchased in commerce and installed by people in the community collectively, and water use will not exceed 25% of the spring's flow.
- Implementation of an independent solar energy generation system ? acquisition and installation of equipment through a trusted company, the system will be implemented for use in pumping water from the water hole into a 10,000 liter tank, which will have a water pump 'submerged water of 1 ½ hp.
- Provision of a water branch in 15 lots for watering the animals ? implementation of a water distribution system through plumbing with 20 mm PVC pipe, to make water available in the productive lots, especially in periods of drought, when the animals suffer from lack of water and quality nutritional food. With these systems, farmers will have permanent water guaranteed in the areas where they are raised and produce food for small animals.
- Implementation of a simplified water distribution system in the community ? the project includes in its activities a 1,000 liter water tank, cement base and plumbing for a 10,000 liter tank, for houses, minimizing water difficulties in the locality. This will improve the domestic working conditions of women who need to travel to wash clothes in the river.
- Protection and maintenance of vegetation around the water hole ? this activity will be carried out by planting native plants around the water hole to ensure its maintenance, cleaning the entire area near the water hole and promoting lectures on the preservation and protection of the environment, these activities will have the participation of everyone in the Settlement.
- Acquisition of 120 boxes for bee keeping and equipment for collective use by associated beekeepers ? purchase of complete boxes from a trusted supplier with quality material that will be stored and looked after at the association's headquarters. The preparation of the boxes will be carried out by beekeepers collectively and guided by an experienced technician or farmer.
- Cataloging the native bee species present in the natural reserve area ? the identification and demarcation of native bee species will be carried out with the assistance of a biologist. Lecture cycles for environmental education will be held with the region's population, around the theme of native bees. Installation of educational signs in areas where bees are present, the activity will involve young people, at the end of the work a catalog with the species will be created. 25 tests of native bees will also be purchased for breeding in families' backyards.
- Training on the use and preservation of water sources in the Settlement ? all residents of the Settlement will participate in the training, the training will be carried out by people who have knowledge on the topic of environmental preservation, the participatory methodology and easy-to-understand teaching material .
- Workshop on bee farming management practices ? five (5) workshops will be held on bee farming and honey production for farmers in the Settlement, with assistance from a farmer who has experience in raising bees for honey production. honey. Because, it is believed that the experience exchange methodology combines theory and practice.
- Exchange on beekeeping ? to exchange experience and knowledge with organizations in the landscape that already carry out experience in bee keeping and honey production, the workshop will be for all people who already keep bees and those who want to start beekeeping.

Notable Community Participation
The community works together, where everyone, from young to old, carries out the same activities and participates in meetings. Everyone participates in discussions, expresses their points of view and is heard. In relation to the elderly, there is a sensitive approach to listening to their experiences and wisdom that helps them not make past mistakes and inserts them into the work that takes place during the project. An activity was planned to engage young people in carrying out the activities so that they feel like they are participating in the project.
Gender Focus
Working equally, making women feel important in all processes, providing opportunities for speaking and listening, giving them the opportunity to improve their income and time spent on domestic work, through a better water supply, close to home. In the management of the organization there is a balance between the number of men and women, providing space for everyone to be voted and elected without giving value to one or the other.
