Overall objectives/activities to be implemented under the grants: Preserving and developing
traditional salt production and increasing livelihoods for salt farmers in the coastal area of Hoa Binh
district, Bac Lieu province.
Specific objectives are presented below:
Objective 1: Build a community tourism model that showcases traditional salt production.
Objective 2: Build 02 pilot models including: one model of traditional salt production combined with
tourism and cuisine; one model of the salted purslane combined with cuisine and medicinal herbs to
increase income for salt farmers
Objective 3: Communications, promotion, and preservation of traditional salt production models.
