Technical-methodical training program in the field of Biodiversity protection for managing protected areas.
This project aims at organising two training courses (3 days each) offering methodologies in inventory, monitory and evaluation of biodiversity level in Albania would be held. 25 environmental specialists and 25 NGO members would be trained on biodiversity protection issues, including inventory, monitory and evaluation. A training model, applicable for a wider range of stakeholders would be provided. A practical guide with inventory forms would be designed and distributed. This project is also an application of actions recommended in the Country Strategy for Biodiversity Conservation. The training module can also enable a series of practical workshops in community level. NGOs and environmental specialists could later on develop concrete projects for monitoring the biodiversity in habitats or other complex ecosystems.
