The project's general objective is to guarantee water security and the permanence of communities in rural areas, involving 22 families. 22 rainwater collection cisterns with a capacity of 16,000 liters each will be built and training workshops will be held on the proper use of water resources, manufacture of handcrafted instruments, transfer of culture and traditional knowledge and on the role of youth in the community. Seed planting activities will also be carried out in family backyards, seedling production and exchange of native and fruit seedlings.

Gender Focus
