Escola Família Agrícola de Correntina and Surrounding Areas, contextualized education and its contribution to keeping the Cerrado standing
The project's general objective is to strengthen the Escola Família Agrícola Padre André, located in Correntina, as a strategic reference space for the training of multipliers committed to the defense of the Cerrado biome. Around 100 families will directly benefit, and the main activities include expanding the school's infrastructure; deployment of solar energy; workshops on community organization to apply the DOP and on the importance of renewable energy; exchange with young people from the closures on agroecological practices, coexistence and sustainability in the Cerrado and adaptation of the training plan for the curricular components.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
1. Expansion of bedrooms, construction of bathrooms, renovation and adaptation of spaces. The activity takes place through the hiring of professionals, committed to meeting the goals set out in the work plan; For the acquisition of materials, companies that provide and guarantee the quotation values (economicity), quality and agility in product delivery will be considered. During the execution of the project, the public involved will be mobilized.
2. Implementation of the solar energy system at the school headquarters, through a legally constituted company that guarantees values, quality and deadlines for installing the system.
3. Workshop with a group of community associations to apply DOP tools, aiming to strengthen the internal organization.
4. Workshop with students, family farmers, community leaders, on the use, management and importance of renewable energy;
5. Exchange with the student public to exchange experiences/knowledge and agroecological practices, coexistence and sustainability of the cerrado to be carried out in the communities of the traditional peoples of Fundo and Fecho de Pasto
6. Field day at EFAPA headquarters with students, researchers, riverside communities, family farmers, generators, partner entities, to learn about and disseminate agroecological practices, new renewable energy technologies, PANCs and others.
7. Seminar at EFAPA headquarters with partner organizations, on the importance of contextualized education for the conservation and sustainable use of the cerrado in Pé.
8. Adequacy of the Training Plan of the curricular components, reinforcing the study of the cerrado biome, strengthening its ways of life, culture, work and identity of the populations. Continuous, procedural activity aligned with the Pedagogical Journey;
9. Improvement of EFAPA's productive sectors with improved techniques, increased organic production and environmental sustainability.
