This project's main objective is to build the political and economic autonomy of women affected by dams and strengthen agroecological production in 14 rural communities spread across the municipalities of Correntina, Santa Maria, Jaborandi, Cocos and Coribe. In total, 150 families will benefit, with direct actions for 15 women whose families benefited from the PAIS Project - Integrated and Sustainable Agroecological Production. The main activities include holding meetings, technical visits, training and workshops, in addition to selling surplus products from the production of PAIS units in street markets in the municipalities, and structuring groups to deliver food from communities to cities.

Project Characteristics and Results
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
? A general capacity building that foresees the participation of 40 people affected by dams to debate the importance of agroecological production and the collective organization of women. This meeting will be held in the municipality of Correntina and public transport will be used to take families to the meeting location. The objective of the meeting is to introduce the debate in a collective environment and deepen discussions such as: the relationship and role of women in agroecological practices, the importance of collective organization and the agroecological transition;
? 225 technical visits are planned, 15 visits for each family of women involved in the project, but the PAIS units are worked collectively, therefore it is expected that the technical guidance moments will involve more people;
? 2 technical capacity building meetings that will involve 15 women beneficiaries of the PAIS units that will be revitalized. It is extremely important that women are the main target audience for technical capacity building, as the construction of large energy and agribusiness projects mainly affects female knowledge and economics. In addition to the technician who will accompany the capacity building, the meetings will have assistance to facilitate the content. The first meeting is planned to be held in Coribe and the second in Santa Maria da Vitória;
? 10 workshops in the communities served (2 in each municipality), whose main focus is to provide technical knowledge to the beneficiary women, directly contributing to the autonomy of those affected in the production and consumption of various foods, in addition to capacity building these women to work in food structures COUNTRY.
? It is planned to sell surplus products from the production of PAIS units in street markets in the municipalities, direct sales in communities, in addition to structuring groups to deliver food from communities to cities, an essential activity for the economic autonomy of affected women;
? Initially, two meetings will be held with the Government of Bahia, in particular with the Secretariat of Policies for Women and the coordination of the Bahia sem Fome program and meetings with the City Halls of the 5 municipalities served, two in each municipality totaling 10 meetings. Their objective is to advance the demands of those affected, prioritizing urgent issues, such as minimizing food insecurity among affected families;
? Two exchanges of experiences/Exchanges will be held, the first is expected to be held in the community of Molho (Coribe) and the second in the community of Brejo Verde (Correntina). The objective of this activity is to be a space for dialogue to share and exchange knowledge between the affected women, as multipliers, and the communities. Participants will be able to debate community knowledge and that acquired in workshops, capacity buildingand visits;
? 84 meetings will be held, 6 per community, with at least 5 families. The objective is to promote discussions about collective organization and the creation and strengthening of the local group of affected people, in addition to debating problems related to production and coping with large energy and agribusiness projects that affect the territories, in addition to other needs communities, ensuring the political participation of women in the community;
? An evaluation meeting will be held, with the participation of 40 people, after the end of the project, in the municipality of Correntina. A moment to qualify the execution of the project and how the work done in the communities contributed to improving the lives of families and community organization. As well as understanding the affected women who benefited as perpetuators of the knowledge built, thus drawing up strategic lines aimed at continuing the work after the project is completed.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
All project actions will be recorded through photographs that will be shared on the social networks of the movement, those affected and partner organizations. Simple reports and technical visit reports will be created to systematize the activities. We will use attendance lists to record people's presence. To transmit knowledge and lessons learned, we will create journalistic articles, videos and digital booklets.
