Sustainable use and conservation of biodiversity in the Cerrado biome in the collective area of Fecho de Pasto do Entre Morros.
The project aims to strengthen territorial management and the sustainable use of the Cerrado in Pé, the recovery of springs, in addition to enhancing traditions and care for natural resources. In addition to helping to protect and conserve biodiversity, the project's activities will contribute to increasing the resistance of communities to guarantee their uses and rights to the territory, including more women and young people in the collective closure area. 46 families will be involved, and the main activities to be developed include monitoring the collective area, fencing part of the Ribeirão stream, collecting and launching seeds from plants native to the Cerrado, meeting with women and young people in the closure area and a seminar on the importance of conserving the Cerrado.

Capacity - Building Component
A meeting with women and young people in the closure area, an expedition to recognize the territory. Through expedition and will be conducted by people experienced in the territory. Young people, women, men and elderly people participated in the closing of Entre Morros
The seminar on the importance of conserving the cerrado in Pé, families staying in the territory and its sustainable use. Partner people who have experience in the subject will participate, such as CPT, ISPN, Clemente, EFAPA.... Young people, women, men and elderly people will participate in the closing of Entre Morros
Gender Focus
Ensure that women know the community territory better, so that they can better integrate themselves and build a strategy to protect the standing cerrado and families' permanence in the territory.
