Alternative Livelihood Options as Adaptation Strategy to Climate Change in Manzini Region of Eswatini
The project aims to revive a community apiary to be managed and maintained by Adult and Youth Primary Beekeepers at Macudvulwini Community in Ngwempisi Constituency in the Manzini region. Initial participants will prioritize two thematic areas: protecting biodiversity and economic improvement initiatives and climate adaptation and resilience programs. The identified beneficiaries are involved in beekeeping at household level, since the community apiary site was vandalized and are keen to revive their beekeeping corporative.

Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Beekeepers will be capacitated on Agri-Business management training which comprises of marketing and sales, Financial Planning, risk management, and Financial record keeping.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Information, knowledge and lessons learned will be disseminated through regional, national and international social media platforms, including organizations, think-tanks and publications. Social media platforms will be used to broadcast project progress with WFF?s followers and networks showcasing participants work, trainings and the sharing live the annual income generating workshop focusing on the participants? enterprises.
