Sustainable Agriculture through water access
The lowland areas are fertile and had been modified to large agricultural land mainly cattle and coconuts plantations. Small gardening holding in farming food crops can be use in management of invasive plant species in reducing their spreading, climate smart farming to reduce soil loss to erosion. Empowering and engaging youth in small gardening holding can be a catalyst to recover land productivity and supporting ecosystem restoration, and secure food. The project to make access water through solar pump for crops gardening irrigation and provide knowledge and upskilled local youths in climate Smart agriculture.
