The project aims to enhance community participation in forest management for the better management and restoration of natural forests which will increase carbon sequestration, and also contribute to adaptation objectives and augment local livelihoods of about 200 households.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
Tenvelo will document and disseminate the information and experience acquired during implementation of the project to its website, Facebook, WhatsApp and networks as the organization links with likeminded organizations. Slots through radio are already going on the importance of sustainable use of the environment through Forestry Department and Tenvelo will continue to partner with them to speed up the process of spreading the information on the project. Documentaries? captured through partners like Participatory Land-Use Management PELUM, newsletters, newspapers and organized radio programmes too
