The Project to address coastal erosion as a result of sea level rise, using local materials and traditional knowledge and initiatives backed by modern knowledge to mitigate coastal erosion. Working with the communities of Lembal, LETI will encourage participation of women, men and youth in activities that will bring about the following results; Mitigated impact of coastal erosion along the coastline, restoration of plants and trees, increase knowledge on climate change and coastal erosion as well as improvement in livelihoods and increase resilient.

Notable Community Participation
Improving coastal land will give increased access to the community, enabling Youths to Participate and engage them in Coastal and Environmental activities such as Tree planting and weaving as well as retaining of structures
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The Project will improve support for Traditional Activities from shared traditional knowledge for a sustained livelihood and resilient community through activities such as Weaving using local materials to produce artifacts for income generation
