Project outputs and activities:
Output 1: Feasibility Study and Policy Paper for plastic bag alternatives prepared in a participatory manner.
Activity 1.1: Prepare Tender and bidding for consultant.
Activity 1.2: Conduct the feasibility study.
Activity 1.3: Share results with stakeholders/sharing policy paper with Environment Quality Authority.

Output 2: Paper bags are successfully piloted in bakeries
Activity 2.1: Provide bags for the pilot in the bakeries.

Output 3: Local community awareness of the negative effects of plastic bags increased. Activity 3.1: Conduct Awareness sessions for community, including social media coverage and round tables for stakeholders/local authorities 10 awareness sessions (5 for each) reaching at least 250 participants in each village with at least 40% females. The source of verification will be the project?s internal documents 2 roundtables (1 each) will be organized; the project will be highlighted on social media outlets.
Activity 3.2: Conduct cleaning Campaigns 4 cleaning campaigns (2 for each) are conducted reaching at least 100 youth. the source of verification will be the project?s internal documents.
Monitoring and Evaluation
? Conduct baseline evaluation for the status of Plastic usage of bakeries through feasibility study. The baseline of awareness will be measured during the sessions.
? The monitoring process will include monitoring the outputs using internal documents and the outcome indicators using pre- and post-surveys. In addition to measuring the impact on bakeries using qualitative tools.
? Conduct mid-term outputs reporting
? Conduct final review, endline and reporting.
