Strengthen resilience to climate change by improving Agro-ecosystems to increase vegetable productions in Agricultural Cooperatives
The ?Strengthen resilience to climate change by improving Agro-ecosystems to increase vegetable productions in Agricultural Cooperative? focusing on water resources management and improving sustainable agricultural production to increase incomes and reduce pollution, as well as improving the environment, creation job, food security, and rural economic development. This project will engage all relevant stakeholders, including farmers, agricultural cooperatives, local authorities, provincial departments of agriculture and provincial department water resources to work together in the implementation of projects, inclusively and effectively, such as climate change impacts awareness to 225 people through Vulnerable Reduction Assessment (VRA) and awareness raising workshops. Moreover, project will ensure that 3 agricultural cooperatives (60% women, 15% youth, and vulnerable people) have equipped knowledge and skills to select crops that are adapted to climate change and practice diversifying crops.
To increase community livelihood, this project will renovate and build the water pipe system connection from Kulen Mountain to provide year-round water consumption to 174 families. Documentation of lessons learned, and success stories are also part of this project.
