Sundarbans coastal region communities of Bangladesh are the worst sufferer of natural disaster and lived below poverty line as they live in such a geographic location where they are vulnerable in every aspect and depends on traditional nature based livelihood options. To recover from this critical situation and to ensure socio-economic stability and catalyze improved livelihoods, the project will aid in the production and marketing of sustainable mangrove products through the existing BANOJIBI brand. The aim of the project is to ensure sustainable socially-led livelihood options for the people with energizing them into conservation activities. benefits from sustainable practices further catalyzing the conservation and restoration of mangroves. The project will include both male and female of the community. Women's participation in co-operative committee and social activities and overall family income will increase as a result of these efforts, as will the next generation's awareness of their social and environmental responsibilities. Project activities linked with the well established BANOJIBI brand will ensure sustainability after completion of the project period and proper monitoring and evaluation focusing the specific indicators and outcomes will be evaluated to measure the success of the project.
