Community biodiversity and sustainable land management through sacred land management and agroforestry
The project seeks to:
a) Restock a 10-ha sacred grove through enrichment planting, natural regeneration and coppice management.
b) Improve on the livelihoods of women groups through the establish of community agroforestry plantations.
c) Support 120 women of 6 Women Cooperatives engaged in VSLAs.
d) Train 30 community forest guards on bee keeping, agroforestry plantation establishment, compost preparation, wildfire management and soil fertility improvement.
