Specific Objective 1 Generating and strengthening community-based palm palm conservation

Appreciative village approach and meeting activities (Dialogue/discussion) with the parties (Village Government, Tribe/Udu-Anak tribe/Kerogo, women's representatives etc.)
Approaches and village meetings to dissect the existing conditions of palm lontar, control of lontar groves, utilization of palm lontar, and explore ideas for sustainable palm lontar conservation. Approaches and village meetings can be carried out more than once.
Specific Objective 2 Processing Lontar products oriented towards improving the community economy

Activities Palmyra palm plants can be processed or utilized into the following products:
1. Making lontar drinks and snacks made from palm juice and lontar fruit. This activity was carried out by 10 young farmers consisting of 5 young men and 5 mothers
2. The process of making lontar drinks and snacks will be guided by the BelaTera team together with resource persons (lecturers who have conducted research on drinks and snacks from lontar fruit) and assisted by consultants
3. Making handicrafts from palm leaves. Palm leaves can be a unique handicraft and produce high economic value, such as bags and hats made from palm leaves. This activity was carried out by 10 young farmers
4. Processed products (drinks and snacks as well as handicrafts) can be marketed in the Sabu community, in offices and online or in lontar café promotions.
5. Establishment of 2 lontar-based MSMEs with details in each target village of 1 MSME
6. Promotion of Café Lontar Sabu by beneficiaries and BeLaTera study groups (processed palm fruit products, crafts) can be through discussions or small seminars related to innovation, cafés, social media, and others.
7. The promotion of Cafe Lontar involves the local government and other relevant stakeholders, where in this promotion mini events or small exhibitions are held which introduce products made by the beneficiaries. With this small exhibition, it is hoped that Cafe Lontar MSMEs will be known to the wider community
Specific Objective 3 Utilization of Palmyra Waste
Indicator: Availability of organic material resulting from processing palm oil waste which is not processed properly by the people of Sabu Island
Activity 1. Making organic materials from palmyra waste which can be processed into various products such as liquid organic fertilizer, eco enzyme, biological fertilizer, and wastewater filters made from palmyra which can be used by the people of Sabu as organic fertilizer to fertilize plants. This activity was carried out by 20 people with a breakdown of 10 people/village
2. The process of utilizing palmyra waste will be guided by the BelaTera team together with resource persons and assisted by consultants
3. The results of organic materials can be applied to palm palm conservation activities, and garden farming (1 acre/person) as well as cultivating plants in gardens (demonstration plot 2 acres/person)
Specific Objective 4 Innovation in technology for climbing palm trees and innovation in harvesting sap water that is safe, comfortable and makes the palm palm tapping process easier
Indicator 1. Meetings with innovators and assessments with residents (parents - young people) regarding innovation/technology for climbing palm trees and harvesting sap
2. Prototype technology for climbing palm trees according to needs, safe and comfortable for tappers
3. Innovation/or technology for harvesting palm sap water that is easy and safe
Activities 1. Meetings with innovators and assessments with residents (parents - young people) regarding innovation/technology for climbing palm trees and harvesting sap.
2. Design and development of palm tree climbing tools/technology.
3. Development of a method for harvesting sap from the top of the tree
