Towards protecting biodiversity and supporting the economy of farmers in Northen Hebron
The project seeks to safeguard biodiversity within natural reserves and key biodiversity areas while fostering the growth of local communities in the biodiversity area north of Hebron. It aims to enhance food security by promoting, supporting, and developing the presence of bees in their natural habitats, thereby bolstering their role as essential pollinators and sources of income for needed families and unemployed youth, contributing to poverty alleviation efforts, through Promoting the beekeeping initiatives in Northern Hebron for improved biodiversity conservation, increasing biodiversity and beekeeping sustainability awareness among farmers, university students, and agricultural engineers, establishing a comprehensive database documenting pollinator-attracting trees, herbs, and medicinal plants within the Key Biodiversity Area (KBA) and strengthening Partnerships between local communities and institutions in the North of Hebron.
