Promotion of ecological farming of coffee in Nuevo San Carlos, Retalhuleu
OBJECTIVES:
To provide a training and practical base for stakeholders that are interested in abandon agrochemical use on coffee plantations and want to diversify plantation shade with native fruit tree species.
This project will allow the stakeholders to have appropriate training and technical advise for ecological production of coffee and at the same time obtain seedlings of native fruit tree species that are being lost due to agricultural and cattle ranching expansion, to be used on the coffee plantation system as natural shade.
