To strengthen local community capacities and provide timely technical advice to establish agroforestry systems on 14 small communities on the high portion of a river of international importance watershed, trying to diminish soil erosion and agrochemicals pollution.
The project will continue previously given training and practices to small farmers, half of them women, in order to consolidate the establishment of productive agroforestry systems.
Training activities include the use of locally produced organical agricultural inputs and organized commercialization to provide project sustainability.
