OBJECTIVES:
To provide training and technical advice to a community base women organization on tree nursery, planting and maintanance techniques and methods.
This project will allow a group of 73 women of El Jícaro community in the highlands of San Marcos to acquire capacities and training to establish a tree nursery of locally threatened tree species and establishing tree plantations on their small plots.
The project aims to achieve sustainability through seedlings organized commercialization due to the actual demand of these species for reforestation purposes of other governmental and non-governmental initiatives
