The project achieved its objectives with success. The equipment was acquired according to plan, the rotating fund was established, with R$1,500.00 having been distributed. The working capital was crucial for the period between harvests. The increase in income was significant for the beekeepers, encouraging conservation of the local biodiversity. The profit margin was considered low, however, and deadlines for payment of the beekeepers were also a problem. Advertising and raising the standard for quality are solutions which should improve both the margin and the turnover. Nearly 20 nuclei are in full production in the region, with good synchrony with the association, thanks to the project. Further training in the commercialization area was perceived as a necessity for the future.
